Meghna Mohandas is the Founder of Shared Spaces. She is a PhD student in the School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia. Meghna holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal and a postgraduate degree in urban sociology from the London School of Economics. She has worked extensively on housing for low-income groups in India with SELCO Foundation, Indian Housing Federation and De-Earth Architects and Planners. She has also conducted research on housing densities in London with LSE Cities and on housing finance policies in Mexico with New Story Charity. She is the recipient of the 3rd prize for the 2015 Berkeley Essay Writing Competition and has published articles and papers on various platforms.
